LaunchSafe accounts are managed through WorkOS AuthKit, providing enterprise-grade authentication with support for SSO, SAML, and directory sync.

Navigate to LaunchSafe

Go to app.launchsafe.com. You’ll be presented with the sign-in page.

Choose your authentication method

LaunchSafe supports three sign-up methods:
  • Email & password — create an account with your work email address. You’ll receive a verification email to confirm ownership.
  • Google SSO — sign in with your Google Workspace or personal Google account. Email verification is automatic.
  • GitHub SSO — sign in with your GitHub account. Useful if you plan to connect GitHub repositories for scanning.

Verify your email

If you signed up with email and password, check your inbox for a verification link. Click it to activate your account. The link expires after 24 hours.
If you don’t receive the verification email, check your spam folder. LaunchSafe sends emails from noreply@launchsafe.com — add this address to your contacts to prevent future emails from being filtered.

Complete your profile

After verification, you’ll be guided through the onboarding flow to set up your first workspace.

Account security

Your LaunchSafe account is protected by several security measures:

Password requirementsMinimum 8 characters. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage.
Session managementSessions expire after 30 days of inactivity. Active sessions can be revoked from Settings.
SSO enforcementEnterprise customers can enforce SSO-only authentication for their organization, disabling password-based login.
Audit loggingAll account actions (login, logout, settings changes, scan launches) are logged with timestamps and IP addresses.

Enterprise SSO

For organizations on enterprise plans, LaunchSafe supports:
  • SAML 2.0 — connect with Okta, Azure AD, OneLogin, or any SAML-compliant identity provider
  • Directory sync (SCIM) — automatically provision and deprovision users based on your identity provider’s directory
  • Just-in-time provisioning — new users are automatically created when they first sign in via SSO

Multiple accounts

Each email address can only be associated with one LaunchSafe account. If you need to manage multiple organizations, use the workspace switching feature in the sidebar rather than creating separate accounts.

Account recovery

If you lose access to your account:
  • Forgot password — click “Forgot password” on the sign-in page. A reset link will be sent to your email.
  • Lost access to email — contact support@launchsafe.com with proof of identity to recover your account.
  • SSO issues — contact your organization’s IT administrator to verify your identity provider configuration.
